London Canals

London canals from a different perspective. I could not resist playing with the pattern and reflection of this old wall. To me the photo created a moment that seemed endless and lost in time. A moment that could exist anywhere. Contemplating the picture, what comes up for you?

Por acaso nunca andei junto desses canais...
A imagem está excelente, ANGELIKA !
E, já que perguntas, digo que me parecem as paredes de uma prisão...

Um 2014 cheio de realizações !

It actually reminds me of the walls of the forts used here in the States during the Revolutionary War and Civil War. Similar construction techniques and materials, I suspect.

Very nice. I agree wit Revrunner, looks like a fort. Peaceful and serene in a way, but very fortress-like.

It's so still, so like a mirror. I found myself searching for a ripple. Glad I didn't find one, as that would ruin it, wouldn't it?!

It makes me think of being in a place where one could easily get lost.

so many patterens and with the reflection is almost dizzy to look at. Wonderful eye for detail.

It does feel like a fort to me. Nicely composed, Angelika!
