Another aspect of London I like to explore photographically is that of patterns I find in buildings or combinations of buildings. What do they tell us about London? This is a very typical traditional street in London. A pattern all of us staying in London for longer will grow used to.

The patterns suggest people who don't much like surprises.

I love the way you photograph London... And the diversity of your work and the quality of your pictures is amazing... you seem to be a great traveller and photos of other countries and landscapes show that you really have the eye of an accomplished photographer
Hi Angelika, me too I like these streets so typical of London.
Too bad the fog is no more, right? (LOL)
Great Photo! A kiss from Spain
Very nice detail.
I have been enjoying your London photos. They are all really nice.
That is a lovely pattern!
Olá Angelika,
É uma arquitetura interessante, bem ao estilo londrino. Lembram construções centenárias, que guardam história.
Belo registro fotográfico.
Beijo.
Beautiful, Angelika!
Beautiful picture of the windows.
Very well photographed.
The houses are interesting. Is that Spitalfields area? Late 1700's or early 1800's perhaps. Long interesting history around such parts of London.
Hello Angelika,
Wonderful shot!!
Nice to see this typical English street. Good with the light at the front.
Best regards,
Marco
Many people feel these old buildings are typical, maybe even lacking in character. I am the opposite. I appreciate the uniqueness in each of those structures. It is almost like the DNA or the soul of the buildings that give them their special characteristics. You have captured the spirit well.
Very interesting, Angelika. I appreciate this snapshot of London's architecture.
