Winter mood

The weather forecast for today was 'snow'. And before I had finished my coffee it had started. Camera in hand I went on exploring different ways of working with the theme. This picture came about while simply shooting out of my front window. I think it catches the mood of the winter day and how the snowing impacts on us while we go about our every day routines.

We had a fair amount of snow and as usual there are many disruptions. I like the fish eye pic.

ure reminds me of our days of winter precipitation ... now that we're retired, we hope to only ever deal with rain as the worst of our weather.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting; you're doing better with frequent postings to your sketchbook; my Viewfinder blog (separate from the travel blog you visited) has been sadly neglected, but you've inspired me to make a posting there. I hope you visit that one too.

Reminds me of why i want to live where this is a rare sight, or only visit snow once in a while.

For me, living in Ottawa, that's just a dusting.

London, on the other hand, that can be a problem!

Looks as if there was a bit more snow over your side of town
