As snowy weather has settled in, I've had time to observe the impact it makes to the visual of the environment. The white has transformed the landscape. Looking more closely, I feel drawn to the patterns the snow is sculpturing into the landscape.
When we lived in No VA I had many opportunities to photograph snow ... I was always fascinated with the way it piles onto narrow ledges without toppling over.
Snow does always add a touch of magic to the world. Being in Canada, I get to see plenty of it every year and by the Spring I am usually sick of it, but I am always enchanted by the first few snowfalls :)

The branches look like a complicated icing pattern, very nice.
Snow is just made for contrasts. The snow on the trees around here has lasted a long time and its only today that its started to disappear.
I love this masterpiece. Trees have so much to teach us, and I've always been fascinated by the patterns of snow on the trees

It just starting lightly snowing here. It's at that uncertain stage; while your photo leaves an elegant impression. Julie
Snow settled on trees is so often lovely! Good shot!
