Structures

Structures seem to be a recurring theme for me. I'm attracted and fascinated by the shades and shapes leafless trees make against the blue sky. At this time of year, when the sun shines directly on the bark, the light brings out the slightly greenish glow of the moss that covered the trees over the dark and damp months.

I always stare at the naked silhouettes of trees. I find them fascinating...

A tangle to catch the eye and the imagination.

And sometimes you find the spirits of the tree that live there when the leaf cover is gone.

Bare trees against blue sky are eye catching indeed!

Tree branches all tangled up ... makes you wonder which one you need to pull the untangle the mess.

My favorite trees tend to be gnarly ones like this one. I love to look up into them. What a great photo!
