Light and shade

While back in London I'm still working through my photographic adventures in Rio de Janeiro. One of my friends invited me to visit Floresta da Tijuca, an urban forest surrounding parts of Rio de Janeiro. The light that day was amazing and I soon found myself studying the effects it created breaking through the taller trees.

So lovely. There used to be a spot on a rural road not far from me that had a special light. I never could account for why but I loved it. Then the spot changed and the light was never the same after that.

I often 'see' that but can never get the picture.
You have caught it very well.

Love the way the branches reach for the light.
