Urban contrasts - colour and structure


Building on my series about contrast in the urban setting in Rio de Janeiro, this photo stands for its strong urban and historic feel, bearing witness of times long gone and a hint of the modern times that have followed.

Not sure if that building is based on Middle east, South American or Greek influences! The telephone discs high above are distinctly Japanese!

The shapes and the colours grab the viewer.
Some contrasts indeed.
