Rain-Art


It's raining in London and for me rain-Art is my way showing how I look at the city through this 'lense' of water. The rain changes how I perceive the city, it changes my priorities and interferes with my activities. Everything seems different when the water keeps coming down, day after day.

Illusions


Using a frosted window pane as 'filter', I was drawn to the image that emerged playing with the effect the glass had on breaking down the reality behind it.

Infinity


Part of Yayoi Kusama's 'Infinity' exhibition are rooms filled of mirrors that create a feeling of dissolving into infinite space. Studying the effect of a dark room with mirrors, light bulbs and visitors, I thought what I am left with is an image of an infinite horizon disappearing into infinite space and time.

Getting into the scene


Do you feel like being in the water? Playing with perspective I'm interested on the effect it has on the message and the viewer. And, the photo also picks up on several of 'my' themes, it has a wide tonal range of the same colour, strong light reflections and a strong sense of space.

Night at the lake


The light seemed to be floating in the water. I wanted to catch the impression of the land seemingly disappearing into the darkness, giving the image a sense of endlessness and mystery.

Impressions


Out and about with the London School of Samba bringing the carnival spirit to London, I enjoyed studying dance photography with a difference. Combining the moment of movement and coloured stage light, I 'painted' a photography.

A bit of warmth


Fire, like water, is an element I can rarely resist to take photos of. It is the ever-changing nature of this element, that fascinates me. And, as I sat by the fire, out came the camera and I tried to 'catch' a bit of that magic.
