Light study


Walking in the forest, I found the sun shining onto the spider net. I was curious how much detail would come out and how the scene would work out as a photo.

Love the experimentation! I've not been able yet to take a decent photo of a spider's web. Of course, I don't naturally seek them out, so the opportunities are thankfully rare. :-)

Spiders webs are very difficult. Ingenious designs but it is hard to get a decent picture. Light on the web and dark background maybe? The picture is a good use of light as it stands however.

Hi Angelika. I love how the web exaggerates and spreads the light around the trunk of the tree. Good that you even noticed this. You have a great 'eye' for this.
