Little visitor

Sparrows have become a rare sight in London and this little fellow reminded me of how much we are missing since these tame little creatures have stopped visiting. Sitting just next to me, she tried her  best to convince me to share some food with her.

Beautiful action shot! I am lucky. There are many Sparrows where I live. They are spunky, rowdy, delightful birds.

Lovely, clever shot.
Sadly there are many fewer out here than in the last 15 years.

What a cheeky little sweetie. Why has the population dropped off? We have them in abundance here. Of course, I'm 8 times zones west of you.

How sweet! I wonder why they are not around anymore. Too much pollution? Every year I get a nest of birds above my door. It is amazing.

What a great shot! I didn’t know sparrows had become a rare sight in London, that’s sad. We have lots of sparrows where I live but I don’t live in a city. Sparrows are lovely little birds. :)
