This is the other shot that inspired my thoughts about Heathrow airport and temples or palaces. I was not quite sure which of the two photo brings my idea across better, so I thought I show you both.
Hi William In answer to your comment, nobody seemed to mind. The photos were both taken in the public area of the airport, ie before you check in and go through security so I think it's not an issue really. Heathrow is to big and busy I don't think they would be able to control this anyway with so many people taking photos with their phones and little cameras. Cheers
The first pic made me feel small. This one, like so many others, makes me feel as i used to when i was in an airplane, like i was a giant and could reach down and scoop up the toy houses and buildings below.

What's the general policy there for taking pics in an airport terminal? I was thinking about that after the last one....
