Rain-Art


Continuing in my short series about rain-Art, what fascinates me about this work is how the colours and light effects shine through the gloomy atmosphere created by the lack of light and visibility, which in my experience is unique to cities and rain.

Caught up in torrential rain between tube strike and heavy traffic, the only way out was to make good use of the moment to create what I have decided to call rain-Art.

Sunny afternoon in London


We had decided to meet up at Somerset House and look at some of their current exhibitions when we were surprised by a very sunny afternoon. Quick to change our plans, we decided to sit in the yard and muse about life instead. This is one of several images that composed itself before my camera that afternoon.
