Inspired by my friends comment about shoes, I became interested in this new perspective. A rather different angle to look at, its amazing how much shoes reveal about a person.

Light and shade



Staying with the theme of shade and light reflections, this was one picture I could not miss. My attraction was how the light reflections highlighted the moving water, giving the place a hint of mystery, a stage for the mind to make up its own story...

Sunny afternoon in London


We had decided to meet up at Somerset House and look at some of their current exhibitions when we were surprised by a very sunny afternoon. Quick to change our plans, we decided to sit in the yard and muse about life instead. This is one of several images that composed itself before my camera that afternoon.

Inspired

London, October 2012. After seeing Paul Benney's Night Paintings at Somerset House I felt inspired to experiment with the perspective of focus to work between the abstract and the concrete, showing idea and reality at the same time.
